Quality assurance in the broiler production (KIK)
Producers of chickens for slaughter are faced with more and more requirements about documentation for food safety, production methods, animal welfare, environmental factors and management.

Quality safeguards in the broiler production - or the KIK project as it is abbreviated in Danish - is an investment in achieving a lead for the Danish broiler industry. Danish poultry abattoirs and broiler chicken producers are already well founded with respect to traceability from stable to table, but there is no total system ensuring complete traceability for all products.
